A teenage girl was flown to Marshfield Medical Center after crashing a car into the back of a church.
The girl crashed into the back of Crossview Church, 1000 E. Riverview Expressway, about 9:15 a.m. Thursday, Wisconsin Rapids Police Lt. Brian Krzykowski said. Police are trying to determine what caused the teenager to hit the back of the church, which is between Copps Grocery Store and Shopko.
Krzykowski said emergency workers called in a helicopter to take the teenager to Marshfield. Her condition was not immediately available Thursday morning.
The car hit the building next to the back door of the Crossview Church\. Tenth Street South ends at the parking lot several feet from the door.
The car went through the back of the building at the same location at 2:25 a.m. May 5, 2011. The church was Woodlands Church at that time.
