Stephen Curry has been cleared to return to action, and is expected to play Saturday against the Grizzlies, ESPN reported early Saturday.
The two-time NBA MVP has missed the past 11 games with a sprained ankle, and will “probably” have a restriction on his playing time for now, Warriors coach Steve Kerr said Friday night.
“I would say most likely he’ll play,” Kerr said, before Golden State’s 111-100 loss to the Hornets. “I talked to him today and he was feeling good, so we’ll see how he’s feeling tomorrow morning. He probably will have a time limit on his minutes, but we haven’t worked that out yet.”
Kerr also said he would not want Curry playing back-to-back games for now.
After Saturday’s home game against Memphis, the Warriors do not play again until Wednesday in Dallas, and then they have a game the following night against the Rockets.
