Little Rock police have identified the victims in an apparent murder-suicide that happened on Friday.
Officers were called to a report of gunfire at an apartment complex at 5201 Geyer Springs Road around 1:55 p.m.
The officers were then led to an apartment where they found a man and a woman dead from gunshot wounds on a couch.
The victims were later identified as Keyaria Thompson, 20, and Deaunte Davis, 22.
A gun was found at the scene. Detectives believe the incident is a result of a murder-suicide by Mr. Davis who is reported to be the boyfriend of Ms. Thompson.
The bodies of Thompson and Davis were taken by the Pulaski County Coroner Officer to the Arkansas State Crime Lab.
Officers requested a school adjacent to the apartment complex be placed on lockdown until they could determine where the shooting occurred.
Teachers at the school reported hearing possible gunshots just before officers arrived. Officers and Detectives released the school from lockdown once they felt this was an isolated incident.
