Now we all know NBA basketball superstar Russell Westbrook has a bold and unique sense of style. But now Westbrook had dropped a unisex streetwear fashion line. This past weekend, Westbrook debuted ‘Honor the Gift’ in Oklahoma City.
In an interview with Vogue, Westbrook explained his inspiration behind the line. “I’ve been conceptualizing the idea [for] many years and felt it’s time for me to launch my own brand with my own messages,” said Westbrook. “Honor the Gift is a brand of self-belief and dedication to honor the gift ‘he’ has given you, shaped into different product offerings that represent a personal promise to challenge all and achieve greatness no matter the hardship.”
This isn’t Westbrook’s first time in the fashion world. Russell has teamed up with Barneys New York on various capsule collections in the past. Westbrook’s streetwear line consists of neon t-shirts, striped sweatpants and more.
Although all of the pieces sold out at Westbrook’s pop-up in Oklahoma City, the full collection, will be available on November 22 at honorthegift.co.
