Jayson Tatum plans to use his future position in the NBA to help kids who grew up like he did.
The former Duke star told USA Today he’d love to start a program to provide housing and utilities for hard-working single mothers.
Tatum, expected to be a lottery pick in June 22’s NBA draft, showered his own mother with praise and detailed the hardships she went through in getting him where he is in this Jeff Goodman feature for ESPN.
In addition to his stellar athleticism, Tatum’s good intentions give NBA fans more reasons to cheer for the soon-to-be rookie.
