Luke 4:18 Fellowship Church on Sollie Road says its founding pastor, Brother Fred Wolfe, has passed away.

It is with a heavy heart that I share with you that our dear brother, our pastor, and our friend Brother Fred has gone to be with his and our Lord and Savior in heaven. We are saddened over the physical, emotional, and relational loss for his family and our faith family. Brother Fred is fully free, and he celebrates his resurrected life with Christ our King in a way that we can only imagine now.

As a young man, Brother Fred heard the gospel and placed his faith in Jesus Christ as His Lord and Savior. For more than 63 years, he faithfully shared the life-saving news of his Lord as a minister of the gospel and an ambassador of reconciliation. Only heaven knows all the souls that were impacted through his committed service and proclamation of the Word of God. Throughout his ministry, he discipled many Christian leaders and followers of Christ. We are all closer to the Lord today as a result of his dedication. Today, Brother Fred is before God our Father. I believe it is a true statement that God said of our brother and our pastor, “Your work on earth is complete. Enter in, my good and faithful servant!” Brother Fred is more alive today than he has ever been before. There is no other place that he would rather be than with His Savior for all eternity.

I gratefully and sincerely say, Brother Fred, we love you. Thank you for loving us with the love of our heavenly Father. I consider myself blessed to have known you.
