Tamar was on The Wendy Williams Show Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018. She came across very excited and extremely happy about her new love. She also shared she was not abused by Vincent Herbert, but Thursday morning she went to Instagram and shared she was embarassed to admit it on national TV. Today Wendy asked me what happened at my sisters meeting and why did I walk out. Since someone there decided that they would ask me about something so private, so embarrassing, so secretive in front of EVERYONE that was there, I felt like my life was flashing before my eyes and IMMEDIATELY started to cry. Not because someone decided to allow someone else to tell MY SECRET, not because I was asked if it were True in front of a hundred strangers, but because once again my right to choose was taken from me all over again. I decided to Tell Wendy and the world MY secret, MYSELF that I have been a victim of abuse not once, twice, ten, but multiple times by multiple “family members” I’ve never told ANYONE other than Two people in my life and they both have held this close to them. One Being the man that I am with now and EVERY, SINGLE DAY he says I’m so beautiful and my scars makes me even more attractive. I felt that because this has happened to me recently, that something HAD to be done about people who DID know and tried to make People embarrassed and ashamed about something that has happened to them!!! I never EVER again want anyone to feel so little and so small or even ashamed about something they had no control over. I wanted to create a space where you can tell your OWN story with out anyone commenting or making you feel ashamed EVER again!! Go to and tell your story and empower yourself starting today! I wanted you to know that no matter how many scars you have… you are the PRETTIEST 💕 I love you all so much

After a judge warned Tamar Braxton that she needed to make some movement in her divorce proceedings, a new article says that the singer has done just that.

Braxton filed to divorce Vince Herbert nearly a year ago in October 2017. But since then, activity in the process has stalled and a judge warned Braxton to provide proof that the music executive was served papers or the split could be halted completely.

But now The Blast is reporting Braxton has, in fact, served her estranged husband. The singer filed documents on Sept. 11 that show “proof of service.” The docs reveal Hebert got the papers earlier this month.

Braxton is now forging ahead with the split, in which she’s seeking to get full custody of the spouses’ 5-year-old son Logan, should come as no surprise since she recently gushed about her new Nigerian boyfriend on “The Wendy Williams Show.”

“He’s so fine! I can’t take it sometimes. It’s like a whole snack — a Lunchable!” Braxton said on-air Thursday, Sept. 13. “He lives in L.A., he’s originally from Nigeria, but he lived here for a while.”

Also on the show, Braxton confirmed that the reports of financial woes plaguing their marriage was all on Herbert’s end.

“I don’t have any financial problems,” the “Braxton Family Values” star said pointedly.

Braxton’s appearance on “Wendy” came after she just touched back down in Los Angeles after soaking up a Jamaican getaway with her man, who continues to remain nameless.

As the performer took in an ocean view from her cabana last week, she explained she was happier than ever.

“Well, guys, I am going to log off,” the singer said on her Instagram Live stream where fans ate up a peek at her boyfriend. “It’s so peaceful, so beautiful here. I haven’t been this happy in forever.”
