Donald Trump Thanks Kanye West For Defending Him!

Thank you to Kanye West and the fact that he is willing to tell the TRUTH. One new and great FACT – African American unemployment is the lowest ever...

Kanye West made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel last night. Yes, he even admitted that his publicist was against him going on TV again. Kanye spoke about mental illness and the question still remains is he getting the proper help he needs. There are times you can see him during the interview staring at himself in the television monitor then adjusting his clothes. The monitor showing him himself was surely a distraction.

It was quite interesting to see Jimmy Kimmel defending black people to Kanye West. Jimmy Kimmel reminded Kanye of his outrage with George Bush about Hurricane Katrina, yet can’t understand his lack of frustration with Trump! Jimmy ask Kanye directly does he think Trump like black people or any ethnicity other than white and Kanye went silent or shall we say crickets. Kimmel realized he had dropped too much truth on Kanye and went to a commercial break! It is obvious that Kanye’s publicist must have told Kimmel to leave the subject because after the commercial break it was not brought up again!

Kanye West returned to “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” for the first time in five years.

On Thursday night, the rapper opened up about fashion, his mental health and President Donald Trump, although he seemed at a loss for words at one point about the latter.
Jimmy Kimmel didn’t waste any time bringing up Trump, whom West has defended despite a backlash from fans. The talk-show host started out by asking the performer about his wife, Kim Kardashian West, and her efforts to free Alice Johnson, a first-time nonviolent drug offender. Trump commuted Johnson’s sentence in June after Kardashian West pleaded her case.
“Were you ever concerned about her being alone in the Oval Office with President Trump?” Kimmel asked. “Well, he’s a player,” West said, right after laughing.

Kimmel quickly fired up another question, asking if Trump was a good president.
“Just as a musician, African-American, guy out in Hollywood, all these different things — you know, everyone around me tried to pick my candidate for me. And then told me every time I said I liked Trump that I couldn’t say it out loud or my career would be over,” West said. “I’d get kicked out of the black community because blacks, we are supposed to have a monolithic thought, we can only be Democrats and all.”
But he said it took him months before he had “the confidence to stand up and put on the hat.”

“It represented overcoming fear and doing what you felt, no matter what anyone said,” West said. “Liberals can’t bully me; news can’t bully me; the hip-hop community, they can’t bully me. Because at that point, if I’m afraid to be me, I’m no longer Ye. That’s what makes Ye. And I actually quite enjoy when people actually are mad at me about certain things.”
However, one question left the rapper speechless.

After Kimmel said, “I mean, you’ve so famously and so powerfully said George (W.) Bush doesn’t care about black people. It makes me wonder, what makes you think that Donald Trump does … or any people at all?”
West sat silently, arms crossed, looking into the distance before Kimmel took a commercial break.
Besides promoting his new album, “Ye,” and talking about love, his daughters and his fashion line, West shared his thoughts on mental health and living with a bipolar disorder.

“I think it’s important to have open conversations about mental health — especially with me being black. Because we never had therapists in the black community. We never approached taking medication,” he said.
The rapper had not appeared on Kimmel’s show in about five years after they settled their Twitter feud.
In 2013, Kimmel ran afoul of the rapper after he parodied West’s interview with BBC Radio 1 in which he had said things such as “I’m the No. 1 rock star on the planet.”
The pair eventually cleared things up, and West appeared on the late-night show to discuss the feud, but he had not returned since then.
