Cardi B has been apprehensive about fan interactions since getting pregnant — and video of an April incident that just went viral shows why.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper, 25, was shopping at a Sin City Fendi store on April 27 when a fan got in her face and started cursing at her, The Blast reported.
Lolita Beckford-Dawkins told The Blast that she and her friends saw Cardi while shopping and asked her for a photo. Beckford-Dawkins claims that the rapper ignored her and her friends until she screamed, “F—k you Cardi, you ain’t s—t!” and “Come outside, you b**ch!”
Beckford-Dawkins said that Cardi told the group she didn’t want to take a photo because the rapper was unhappy with her own appearance, but Beckford-Dawkins and her crew believed Cardi was being “fake.”
The women got heated, with Dawkins’ husband and several City Center mall security guards jumping in to keep Beckford-Dawkins away from Cardi as a Fendi employee locked the store down to prevent the pandemonium from spilling inside the shop.
Despite the drama — which she appeared to instigate — Beckford-Dawkins insisted to The Blast that as a “mother of five” she would never hurt a pregnant woman.
It’s just the latest public beef for Cardi.
Last week, she went dark on social media after being criticized by Azealia Banks and claimed that Nicki Minaj “really hurt her feelings” during their “Motorsport” feud.
Earlier in the week, a member of her entourage was involved in an altercation outside of the Met Gala after a man got too close to the rapper.
A rep for Cardi, who canceled all performances for the remainder of her pregnancy, did not immediately return a request for comment on the mall melee.
