A man carrying a gun entered a Chick-Fil-A restaurant and demanded money Monday morning, Atlanta police say.
The robbery happened at 10:50 at the new location on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in the Vine City neighborhood. Atlanta Police Department described the suspect as a black male and said he left the scene in a dark colored sedan.
There were no injuries reported and the robbery is under investigation. The suspect fled with an undetermined amount of money taken from the cashier.That location opened in January and had neighbors standing in the snow waiting in line to be one of 100 to receive free Chick-fil-A for a year.
