A Facebook post by a state lawmaker from Pennington County has caused an uproar.

The controversy really started on Tuesday, although it appears Republican District 35 Representative Lynn Disanto first posted the comments September 7th.

A meme, which has been removed, on Disanto’s face book page showed a car hitting at least one stick figure person with the phrase “All Lives Splatter”.

It appears she commented quote “I think this is a movement we can all support #alllivessplatter”

While this was posted 13 days ago, it was Tuesday afternoon when a number of people expressed disapproval.

By 3:00 PM Tuesday, the post had either been deleted, removed or the settings changed so it could no longer be seen publicly.

The South Dakota Democratic party quickly responded, asking for an apology.

We wanted to know if the post was related to the August violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, in which a protester was hit and killed by a car.
However, our numerous messages to Disanto asking for comment have not been returned.
