Road rage caught on camera has landed a woman in serious legal trouble.
Amanda Downs, 25, of Baytown, Texas, was caught on camera pointing what a victim thought was a handgun at a man and his son during an Aug. 2 road-rage incident, according to KTRK.
Jacob McNeil, the driver’s son, told KTRK that Downs, who was driving a red truck, threatened both he and his father with the gun before slamming on the brakes in front of their vehicle.
Downs’ truck helped detectives connect her to a similar road-rage incident, which was reported in July, KTRK reported.
When questioned by authorities, Downs admitted to the acts of road rage, but police found the weapon she used in the August incident was not a gun, but a large folding knife case shaped like a gun, according to KTRK
Downs was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. A felony warrant has been issued for her arrest.
