Eminem’s rap roots will forever be tied to the battle circuit. After flaunting his rap prowess in the 2002 film 8 Mile, Shady has teamed up with renowned music video director Joseph Kahn to produce an upcoming battle-rap comedy titled Bodied.
Despite the creators remaining tightlipped about the movie, Bodied will premiere next month at the Toronto International Film Festival. The rap satire will primarily focus on race relations and will include marquee underground acts such as Loaded Lux, Dizaster, Dumbfounded and Hollow Da Don.
In addition to the loaded rap roster, a bevy of Hollywood stars including Anthony Michael Hall, Debra Wilson, Charlamagne tha God, Alter Perez, Rory Uphold, Jackie Long, Callum Worthy and Shoniqua Shanda will grace the screen for Bodied.
