A couple went viral after they shared their “#goodwilldatenight” photos on Facebook Friday.
The challenge was simple, the couple used $10 each to put together an outfit for the other person. The outfit then had to be worn for date night! The catch was that both had to act completely normal, but they did make up fake names for the outfits.
“We laughed so hard all night long,” said the couple, Shane and Noel Pauley on Facebook.
She wrote, ” Tonight’s date night was hysterical. We had $10 each in Goodwill to buy each other an outfit that had to be worn out. Once we were out we had to act like it was completely normal. To top it off we made up fake names to match our outfits! We laughed so hard all night long. We now challenge all of you to take a #goodwilldatenight and have a blast with your person!!! Love, Roger and Ethel”
***Since this has gone viral, I wrote a blog post so you can read more about our date night and our life if you’re interested.
In their blog post, the couple broke down how you can have your own #goodwilldatenight.
- You each get $10 in Goodwill to shop for the other person and they have to wear what you pick.
- Once you leave Goodwill, it’s like fight club, no one talks about it.
- You have to pick fake names and go by them all evening.
“Y’all I don’t think we have laughed this hard in a long time,” said the couple in their blog. “Marriage is tough, parenting is tough, and honestly life is tough. But everything is better when you’re doing it with your best friend. So, have fun and make sure you hashtag all of your pictures with #goodwilldatenight so we can laugh at your pictures too!”
