What do pogo sticks and the 2017 Nissan Juke have in common? Well, not much, but they both look great on the automaker’s latest innovation, the Nissan Jukecam. This 360-degree dashboard camera doubles as an action cam, and may replace extreme sports fans’ need for a GoPro. Recording in 4K resolution, the camera easily screws into a mount on the Juke’s dashboard to record all your driving adventures.
To demonstrate its sporty capabilities, Nissan hired the Xpogo Stunt Team, a group of professional pogo stick jumpers to attach the camera to their helmets while they set the Guinness World Record for consecutive cars jumped over. They also showed off some moves on their pogo sticks we caution you not to try at home.
The video of the JukeCam in action, as well as the team’s heroic exploits, was released on the brand’s European YouTube channel, and doesn’t mention when and where it will be available. We can’t say it has us running out to buy pogo sticks, but the idea of viral 360-degree dashcam videos of foolish drivers has us very excited.
