A hearse was stolen early Friday morning and the corpse inside was dumped on the side of a Bryan road soon after the theft, according to the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office.
The body was found right before 7 a.m. Friday by a passing truck driver who saw a stretcher with a deceased person attached to it in a ditch off of Dick Elliot Road in north Bryan.
Bryan Police soon arrived and began an investigation into how the body got there. Police do know that a hearse was stolen in Bryan.
How much would a hearse be worth on the chop shop market? Something to look into there.
So far no arrests have been made related to the incident and the identity of the body hasn’t been released.
