Galveston residents better be ready to see a lot of topless beauties rolling through the streets this weekend.
We mean topless Jeeps, of course.
The 10th annual Go Topless Jeep Weekend on Bolivar Peninsula kicks off Friday and will run through Sunday as hundreds of Jeep owners drive their souped up vehicles to the peninsula for a relaxed weekend on the beachfront.
From jacked-up monster truck-inspired Jeep Wranglers to vintage Jeep Cherokees, owners from around the Bay Area and beyond flock to Bolivar Peninsula to check out the amazingly-designed Jeeps, while enjoying fresh seafood and local live music.
According to the event’s website, local restaurants have lined up live music for families and friends to enjoy both Friday and Saturday night. Mixx Fixxer, Dalton Domino, Jamie Talbert and the Band of Demons, and Lee Pelly are scheduled to perform at local bars and restaurants.
