Halsey‘s got a set of pipes, and she won’t be using them for nicotine.
The singer revealed that she finally quit using nicotine, but kicking the bad habit didn’t come without its struggles.
“I successfully quit nicotine a few weeks ago after smoking for TEN years,” the “Without Me” songstress tweeted on Thursday. “I gained a lot of weight and probably lost some friends forever bc I was being a NUT (lol).”
Despite the weight gain and grouchy moods, the 24-year-old star says she’s proud of her decision to stop using the stimulant.
“I’m so happy I did it and I feel v goooood,” she said. “Just wanted to share.”
Clearly, Halsey has been putting her health first. Last year, she revealed that she quit smoking cigarettes after 10 years.
“I was a smoker for 10 years. TEN! A decade of a habit that ruled my life until I just woke up one day and decided ‘no more,’” she tweeted in November 2018. “I’m REALLY proud of myself for quitting and I’m looking forward to all the fun health milestones I’m getting to reach now. The hardest part is over! 🖤🚭”
