Kanye is safe guys. Don’t worry (Picture: Rex Features) Kanye West has confirmed that he is safe after shots were fired at a house where Tekashi69 was filming a music video with him and Nicki Minaj. The rapper also confirmed that wife Kim Kardashian and the rest of the family were ‘safe’ after The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was forced to evacuate her home after a wildfire ripped through her neighbourhood.

But worried fans were to exhale and relax as the rapper tweeted: ‘Thank you for everyone’s prayers. Our family is safe and close’. The social media activity comes on Friday after Tekashi was filming a video at an $80 million (£61 million) estate in Beverly Hills on Thursday night when gunshots were reportedly heard ringing out. According to TMZ, police received a call at 10.25pm and rushed to the shoot. A witness told the website that eight shots were fired in an apparent drive-by. Nobody was hurt in the incident. While Nicki had not yet arrived at the location, Kanye was in the house and immediately left after the shooting.
