The Caribbean bakery and eatery, Golden Krust was founded by Lowell Hawthorne. The first restaurant was opened in 1989. Today withholding more than 120 restaurants in different nine states The founder and CEO of Golden Krust sadly, commit suicide inside his Bronx factory on Saturday. Police sources say, Lowell Hawthorne, who was  57 years of age shot himself inside his Park Ave. building at about 5:30 p.m. Employees, family members, and costumers are devastated by the loss of Lowell Hawthorne. He has appeared on the hit show undercover boss, and has shown gratitude to many. We are so sorry for the loss of Lowell Hawthorne. We shall continue to keep his family and those near to him in our hearts and prayers.
