A mom and her two kids were jailed after a car chase in one Eastern Carolina county.
Craven County deputies tried to stop a car driven by Nathan Wood Thursday night on Half Moon Road for a minor traffic violation.
Deputies chased the 31-year-old man to James Arthur Avenue where he ran into his home.
Inside not only did they find Wood, but also his mother and his sister, both who had outstanding arrest warrants.
Nathan Wood is charged with felony fleeing to elude law enforcement, reckless driving to endanger, driving while license revoked, and possession of fictitious license plate. Wood also had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court for possession revoked registration plate, possession fictitious registration plate, and driving while license revoked.
The man’s 60-year-old mom, Shirley Paul-Wood, was charged with failure to appear in court for driving while license revoked, while his 29-year-old sister, Stacey Wood, was charged with failure to appear in court for possession fictitious registration plate and driving while license revoked.
